so, I've been reading quite a lot of article saying that when you upload big file, you need to chunk it in smaller pieces and upload several pieces in parallel, because it's going to be faster compared to uploading the whole thing in one go.
So, I tried uploading a 2GB of video file to amazon S3. I'm using my company's VPN from home when uploading. so, the upload took exactly the same time...both took ~13 mins to complete.
Am I missing anything?
Thanks 2GB -> uploading in chunks in parallel vs uploading the whole file in one go
