Cant ping through an interface [on hold]

I am running a centos on virtual box.My ifconfig details is given below.eno1 does not contain an ipv4 address .eno2 also does not contain an ipv4 address. When i do try to ping through interface eno1 and eno2 it fails

[[email protected] ~]# ping -I eno1 8.8.8.8
ping: Warning: source address might be selected on device other than eno1.
PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8) from 10.0.2.15 eno1: 56(84) bytes of data.

But if i try to ping through eth0 it get s pinged

[[email protected] ~]# ping -I eth0 8.8.8.8
PING 8.8.8.8 (8.8.8.8) from 10.0.2.15 eth0: 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=1 ttl=63 time=390 ms
64 bytes from 8.8.8.8: icmp_seq=2 ttl=63 time=93.4 ms

Why is it that i cant ping through eno1 or eno2
