Galvanized Sheet Bending

The purpose of the bending test for the surface coating of high quality Galvalume Corrugated Roofing Sheet:

The purpose of the bend test of the coating is to detect the flexibility of the film. It is one of the important items to evaluate the coating logistics performance of high quality Galvalumed steel sheet by measuring the ***** resistance or peeling resistance of the coating when the sample is bent.

Many of the coated substrates have certain deformability, so the coating is also required to have corresponding flexibility. After curing, the bending test of the coating is to bend the sample 180° around itself and then along the curved surface. Apply a scotch tape, tape the tape while removing the air bubbles, and then quickly peel off the tape in the direction of 60° along the curved surface. Visually observe whether the curved surface of the coating is cracked or peeled off, and make sure that the coating does not produce. The lowest thickness of the sample that is cracked or peeled off.

We all know that galvanized sheet steel is cold-rolled or hot-rolled, and long and narrow strips are plated with different layers of raw materials called (zinc, aluminum). Aluminized zinc has the advantages of uniform plating, strong adhesion, and long service life. The hot-dip aluminum-zinc plate steel substrate and the molten plating solution undergo complex physical and chemical reactions to form a corrosion-resistant structure of a zinc-iron alloy layer.
