How is the "Session Layer" Implemented? [closed]

        I know that in the OSI Model the session layer is the mechanism which sets up and manages each line of communication a computer may have with others on a network, but my question is how, or, where in the OSI model is it implemented?

It seems like the session layer is implemented within the transport protocols TCP and UDP, through either a TCP or UDP session, like seen here: Would that be correct?
