Setting up SNMP monitoring on Github appliance [on hold]

I'm trying to set up SNMP and I haven't worked with it before.

I have SNMPv2 enabled on a Github Enterprise appliance (running Debian).

According to Github documentation, I can test my SNMP configuration by running the following command from another machine on the network which has SNMP: snmpget -v 2c -c community-string -O e hostname hrSystemDate.0

So I set up a new VM (RHEL) to act as my SNMP Manager. I run "yum install net-snmp net-snmp-utils" but I get the error "no package net-snmp-utils available". Without this package, I cannot run the "snmpget" command.

Does anyone have advice on how I might set up SNMP monitoring on my Github appliance?
