UK is like capitalist mini Soviet Union

I wonder if anybody noticed that? Like the uncanny parallels.

Multinational conglomeration with one dominant nation? Check.

Gloomy weather and copy-paste housing? Check.

Bad track record of freedom of speech? Check. (obviously uk is better in this, but still leaves a lot to be desired)

Somewhat miserable, alcoholic population yet good sense of humour? Check.

Chav/gopnik subculture - Check.

Now this post is semi-humorous, pls don't get offended. Just my observations of being from post-Soviet country and living in UK for quite a while now and I lived/been to other countries too. There are even more things I have noticed but forgot.
